Ann Brebner and Claire Elliot – Northampton

While working as a Police Office seven years ago, Ann Brebner decided that she wanted a better work/life balance. As her job demanded long working hours, Ann wasn’t seeing as much of here family as she wished, so she started to look into options that would allow her to be her own boss.

She realised that becoming a franchise owner met this criteria, and one business opportunity stood out – Time For You.

Ralph and Hazel Watson – Fife

Since Hazel and Ralph Watson bought the Fife Time For You franchise of in 2005, they now have about 115 cleaners servicing more than 220 clients, with ambitious plans to treble their business with the next three years.

“We want to be the biggest domestic cleaner in Fife”, says Ralph.“We are very passionate about Time For You and it has given us a great lifestyle. They are franchise owners within the business with many more clients, and we are hoping to emulate them to grow.”
The pair first realised there was a gap in the local market for a new domestic cleaning company when clients of their previous carpet and upholstery cleaning business asked if they could recommend a domestic cleaner.

Ralph and Hazel knew franchising was the road they wanted to go down, and were looking at different business opportunities when they discovered Time For You.

Sam and Emma Stawarz – Milton Keynes

Sam and Emma Stawarz started their Milton Keynes Time for You franchise in 2010. They now have more than 200 clients and 150 cleaners on their database.

Prior to investing in the Time For You Milton Keynes with her husband, Emma worked as a barmaid, but was not enjoying having to work long hours for little return.

“Owing my own Time For You business has changed my life for the better. As a barmaid I didn’t earn more than the minimum wage, I was constantly on my feet and I worked very unsociable hours,” she explains. “With Time For You I work from home, I don’t have to do any of the cleaning myself, yet I still get to speak to my clients.

Ian and Amanda Thompson – Buckinghamshire

Ian Thompson and his wife Amanda bought Time For You Buckinghamshire in October 2010, after Ian was made redundant from his job.

He had been working with a company for more than 30 years when his department got relocated and, not wanting to uproot his family, Ian took the redundancy package he was offered.
